What you will learn with film 9

Frau Schindler wishes Elena a happy birthday, and gives her a candle and a flower.

The class then sing her a traditional German song - "Viel Glück und viel Segen".

Summary

Now pupils know the months of the year they can begin to talk about when their birthdays are; and ask about other people's birthdays.

We also see how Elena's class celebrate her birthday at school, and sing birthday songs in German.
